Children

We welcome children into our church family. On Sundays we run two separate programmes for children during our Sunday gatherings, to provide Bible teaching at their level. Once a month we have an all age service to build connections between the generations. 

 

Seedlings: for children aged 2 ½ to 5 years old: in the Fantail Room down the back hallway. Planting the seeds of God’s word through songs, bible story, activity, morning tea, and play. Children are able to transition into God Zone sometime after they turn 5 and are ready for something new.

 

God Zone: for Primary and Intermediate children, in the hall. Connection time, bible teaching, active games, discussion, activity, memory verses, and prayer. We transition year 8’s into the Sunday service in term 4.

 

Intermediate children have their own small group at Te Haereroa Youth (year 7 - year 13) on Friday nights - see youth information.

 

The Parenting room is available during the service for nursing Mums and parents with active toddlers, there is an audio link to the service in this room.
