Alert Level 4 is Extended Again

Greetings to you all from my home office… again. I am grateful to be set up and able to work from home. The view from my office window allows me to interact with people walking past! The sun certainly helps, thank you Jesus!

With the latest announcement from the government this afternoon, we are continuing in full lockdown until at least Friday. With this in mind, let me clarify what this means for us.

Alert levels.

Alert Level 4: Obviously no gathering; services will be made available online. A link to the service will be sent out later in the week.

Alert Level 3: As per Alert Level 4.

Alert Level 2: We will have two services, 9am and 11am, for those who would like to gather.

Two additional steps will be required.

  1. The government now require all people who attend a large gathering to either scan in with the QR code, or to record their details with us. Steps will be put in place to ensure that any details collected apart from the QR code, will only be used if a positive case of COVID-19 was identified from someone who attended the church.

  2. Masks will be required to be worn by all attending the service, during the service. As the Delta variant is more contagious, we want to put the extra layer of protection in place to ensure we are doing all we can to ensure the safety of those coming to our services of worship.

Church office

The church office will remain closed until we move into Alert level 2. However, please feel free to contact staff by email or phone if needed.

Family Camp

If we are still at alert level 2 on the weekend of camp, which it would seem is highly likely, we will postpone the camp for another year 😞.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Shalom,

Bruce
