I've been reflecting

We are now half way through our brief look at the “Clash of Kingdoms”, thinking about how the standards and values of the Kingdom of God often conflict with the world that we live. We started the first week by looking at the New Testament presents Jesus as King, and that we called to surrender our allegiance to Jesus alone. Then last week we looked at the how the Bible views this thing called sin, our separation from God. Yet often this is not the perspective of the world that we live in.

So this week I have challenge for you, if you are up for a challenge. This week as you go through the week, start to take a few moments to example some of the values and attitudes you encounter during your week. Then take a moment to reflect on how they measure up with Biblical standards. It could be an interesting exercise to consider, if not challenging.
